The Passing of Time

This fall I’ve had some unusual experiences.

One day I was thinking about a story I heard about someone’s grandmother (who has passed) when I heard a clear voice in my head to call this person. It turned out her dog had died that day and she was looking for a sign that her grandmother was supporting her.

Whatever that story means to you, it’s interesting to me!

Death is essentially a mystery to all of us. So is life. The existence and nature of reality.

Making the Most of It

Last week I celebrated my 1st wedding anniversary with my amazing husband. When we spend time together, I often think the fundamentally impermanent nature of all things that Buddha spoke about, and wish I had a way to capture the moments that I wish would last a little longer.

My hope is that My Saga will cut help users cut through the noise - hold onto and pass on what is important, and find inner peace through reflection.

Reflection Questions

  • Who are the people you are missing? What legacy did they leave for you?

  • Who are the people you want to spend more time with while you have the chance?

Founder’s Note

The unusual experiences I had led to me taking on a few advisors for My Saga. I’m still at the helm of the ship, getting advice on the navigation and the waters.

Some of the things I’m struggling with are what to prioritize and flexibility with my strategy as other opportunities arise. Stay tuned as I continue to write code and bring my ideas to life!

I’m figuring it out as I go along! Ex: I drew this without looking at the paper

A Final Note

Thanks for Being Here

It is my hope that My Saga and The Weekly Saga newsletter adds value to your life, and life into your days.

I will leave you with a reflection from an early user:

“Everyone has a legacy. At first I didn’t think I have one, but then someone said that over decades you accumulate a lot of stories.”

If you know someone who might be interested in trying life journaling or legacy keeping, I encourage you to send them this email so they can sign up for the waitlist and hear about opportunities to receive discounts for feedback.

P.S. I’d love to hear from you. How are you doing? Just reply to this email and let me know.

Until next time,

Alice
