A Mixed Bag

Life is like watching flowers grow from seed, to shoot, to blossom, and then to wilt. My extended family recently lost someone, and I’m anticipating another death soon

Company Updates

OurLoveLivesOn.com

Recently it’s been very clear to me that the family legacy product has a lot of demand and is somewhat urgent. This was made even more clear when I read my hospice notes this morning, and as I’m getting ready to share what I’ve made to my patient’s family.

The app I will be focusing on is OurLoveLivesOn.com.

In fact, after my meeting with a trademark lawyer this morning I can now officially use the trademark symbol: Our Love Lives On™️

Our Love Lives On is being designed and built for that family first as an act of service and love. My hope is that it will provide a secure place to record our personal histories where they can live perpetually and be cherished by friends and family.

High Points

As far as my personal updates go with my family, we’re joyously anticipating the holidays this year as my dad is in escrow and anticipates moving across the country to be near us by Christmas.

I’m reminded of the interrelated nature of joy and sorrow.

Joy and sorrow are inseparable. . . together they come and when one sits alone with you . . remember that the other is asleep upon your bed. — Khalil Gibran

A Final Note

Thanks for Being Here

It is my hope that My Saga and The Weekly Saga newsletter adds value to your life, and life into your days.

I will leave you with a reflection from an early user:

“Everyone has a legacy. At first I didn’t think I have one, but then someone said that over decades you accumulate a lot of stories.”

If you know someone who might be interested in trying life journaling or legacy keeping, I encourage you to send them this email so they can sign up for the waitlist and hear about opportunities to receive discounts for feedback.

P.S. I’d love to hear from you. How are you doing? Just reply and let me know.

Until next time,

Alice
